Unmasked EntertainmentKenwood has unveiled its 3D Mask, a sleek, fully motorized dual-panel display system for its in-dash CD receivers. Available on selected receivers, the 3D Mask features a blank faceplate that flips over and down, revealing a control keypad, and on a separate panel, a high-resolution LCD display with color text and graphics. When closed, 3D Mask shows a blank face to the outside world. The faceplate is also removable for extra security. All Kenwood receivers equipped with 3D Mask are also Sirius Ready, HD Radio Ready, and Kenwood Music Keg Ready, so the LCD display provides a readout of AM/FM and CD text information, as well as text and graphics to support new digital broadcast services and compressed computer audio formats.
