2006 California Jamboree After Dark

The 2006 California Jamboree After Dark Car, Truck, and Hot Rod Show & Cruise provided plenty of Saturday afternoon and evening entertainment for Long Beach, California, enthusiasts and residents.Attracting a variety of custom rides, this marked After Dark's first year of hopefully many more to come. Beginning in the afternoon, continuing through sunset, and concluding in darkness always throws an exciting twist on any show. It seems that when the sun goes down, the show heats up, and an even better time begins to brew. Darkness also makes spark-showering, frame-dragging trucks more prominent. After Dark took advantage of the night's black canvas by featuring a rail drag contest to let spark-throwing rides show off. For West Coast shows, dragging contests seem to be a special treat, and enthusiasts certainly took advantage of this opportunity during After Dark.
