2004 Chevy Silverado - Uncorrupted

This trick blow-through sub box was built by Jaramy Kaufman and houses four JL Audio 13W6 subs for insane bass.
Opening the doors reveals an interior that you may think is too stock for a cover truck, but you'd be missing dozens of little custom tricks. If you were to pull up next to Travis at a stoplight and look over, you'd see a stock gray dash, with just a little orange paint splashed on it-and that is exactly what Travis wants you to see. Directly under the visible line of sight is where the real custom touches were created. Starting with the dash, a 12-inch monitor was molded into the stock radio and HVAC controls location. The HVAC controls were moved down where the cigarette lighter once called its home. A trick fiberglass center console was built and now houses the Eclipse CD5000 head unit, Audio Control 4.1 sound processor, Ipod connector, and XBOX 360 controller. The XBOX 360 was installed into the passenger-side airbag location and it was covered in gray suede. An '04 Escalade lost its woodgrain steering wheel and the wood was smoothed and painted orange, to match. Master Custom Upholstery in Las Vegas added the gray suede headliner, recovered the seats in gray leather, and wrapped the console in suede, as well. Each door panel received orange suede inserts with gray perforated leather covering them, just so the orange hue appears oh-so-faint.

The center console, WHICH housed the Eclipse head unit, Audio Control EQ, XBOX 360 controller, Ipod, was covered in suede, and painted orange.
Speaking of door panels, Jaramy Kaufman of Findlay Customs built custom fiberglass speaker pods that house two JL Audio ZR-650 components. The pair of 1-inch tweeters can be found in the suede-wrapped A-pillars. There is no shortage of bass in this Chevy, thanks to four JL Audio 13W6 subwoofers. You may be wondering how a standard-cab truck has four subs of such a large size. Well, thanks to Jaramy Kaufman's abilities to shape wood and fiberglass, Travis's Chevy now has a through-the-cab sub box that was smoothed and painted white and equipped with purple neon. This box is one of the most creative and quality-sounding we have ever seen and heard.

A Kenne Bell supercharger helps this Chevy run the quarter mile in 13.11 seconds.
Powering this aural arsenal are a total of six JL Audio amplifiers in the bed. Four JL Audio 500/1 amps power the subs and two JL Audio 300/2 amps send juice to the components. All of this amplifier glory is housed in-bed, in another awesome enclosure; this one was wrapped in suede with just a little white paint exposed. The voltage is courtesy of four Directed Stinger amps and miles of Stinger cables and connectors, which were all handled by Travis Secor of Findlay Customs. On the edge of the amp enclosure, Jaramy installed a 17-inch Directed monitor with a pair of JL Audi 5-1/4-inch components for the ultimate in tailgating. A Clifford alarm adds remote start, remote air up and down, and extra security.
To be understated can be very powerful when you have nothing to prove. Letting the quality of craftsmanship and materials do the talking for you is a feat many of us aspire to achieve.
