Ekstensive couldn't just do suspension and paint and call it a day, so the interior panels were pulled for a truly clean transformation. Almost the entire dash and center console were smoothed and color-matched to the Planet Green exterior, along with a couple of door-trim pieces. A Firestone air-pressure gauge was molded into the center console and it is next to the automatic transmission shifter for easy viewing. Gray ostrich over gray leather creates a sense of custom luxury the factory missed in the vehicle's creation. You'll find the bird flesh over the seats and door panel inserts. Lightning Audio musical reproduction gear was strategically placed amidst the SRX's interior and also severely limits the cargo area. The most noticeable piece of equipment is the super-sized subwoofer enclosure absorbing all of the room in the rear and fitted with three 15-inch Lightning subs. Chrome Lightning amps were mounted into the rear windows and power everything from their perched positions, including the subs and 6-1/2-inch separates mounted in all four doors. Meanwhile, the stock head unit controls the whole array. Video screens are everywhere. A 5-inch Directed LCD is in the dash, 7-inch monitors are in each headrest, and to top the sundae, two 17-inch screens hang from the rear hatch. In all, there are 11 speakers, 8 total screens, and a partridge in a pear tree.

This vehicle was actually first assembled from start to finish-without the stereo equipment-in a mere two weeks with 'bags, paint, wheels, and the necessary body repairs from Jennifer's mishap. That was round one for its last-minute unveiling at the SEMA Show. As if that wasn't hard enough, Bill had plans to take the Cadi to CES, but the shop that was doing the audio and video installation screwed up and wasn't able to get it done on time. With a never-say-die gusto, Bill called in his buddy, Dante. Dante stayed at the shop with his brother for four days straight to make the vehicle ready for its appointment in the Rockford Fosgate booth. The duo got it done on time, but of course, it was at the last minute. Nonetheless, it takes a gang of friends to pull off feats like these, so thanks go to the Ekstensive crew, Chris at South Coast Customs, Zach at Rockford Fosgate, MagnaFlow, Devious Wheels, Dante and his brother Ghetto Bob at Homeless Entertainment, E&G Grilles, Advanced Auto Trim, Cooper tires, and Directed Electronics.
